- About
Sleep rough for one night in Birmingham City Centre so a young person doesn’t have to.
The event begins at 6pm at Millennium Point, where you will receive a cardboard box to sleep under the open sky, but you can bring more cardboard if you wish, and there is a prize for the most imaginative shelter judged on the night.
There is also an Indian Drum & Dance group, hot vegan curry, cakes, teas and coffee, the West Midlands Fire Service brass band playing festive favourites, a presentation inside Millennium Point detailing the positive impacts of your support and toast in the morning.
Over 500 people from local businesses, community groups, schools and families, take part at our flagship fundraiser, helping to secure a brighter future for young people in need.
Registration is free, and we are with you every step of the way through your fundraising process, where you will also have a fundraising page created for you automatically, which you can share with friends, family and colleagues.
This is a fundraising event so we really would appeciate everyone taking part to raise much needed funds. By sleeping rough for one night, the money you raise will prevent a young person from having to experience this for real. Each £9 raised from the event helps pay for a night of security for a young person in need- of which we help 600+ every single night.
