Julie, Iris and Lily together with the whole of the Waters family, really appreciate the love and condolences from losing Rob.

 

He was the life and soul of our family and will be fondly remembered by us all. It is a huge loss but with your love, we will look to carry on as a family in the way Rob did everyday.

 

While we will only have family flowers at the funeral, we would really appreciate any donations being made to St Basils.

 

St Basils is a charity that is very close to the family's heart, and reflects the dedication that Rob showed throughout his career in education. The charity does vital work supporting young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, a cause that resonated deeply with Rob.

 

Based in Birmingham, where Rob was raised and spent his life helping young people thrive, St Basils embodies the values he championed both personally and professionally.
